Georgia now! You can rent my flat at the heart of Tbilisi’s old city

Two minutes foot walk from the central Liberty square (in Soviet times Lenin Square)  on the quiet end of Tabidzestreet is my Tbilisi apartment. It has a a huge living room, a balcony to hang out and a vast bedroom with a double bed. There is a new kitchen with a nespresso machine and a dishwasher. The bathroom with shower is new. You find a small room where you can put the children’s bed or your stuff. Additionally you can rent another simple room with view to the shared corridor: here you have a single bed, your own shower and there is a shared toilet, if you do not want to use the one in the appartement. And there is a washing machine.

In the neighborhood there are plenty of good restaurants, both high class and cheap. At Liberty square you get your taxi 24h/7 and if you walk up the hill, you find yourself in nature.

A table that can be extended to 14 persons is yours, and you have enough glasses, plats and cutlery to entertain large crowds.

If needed we can provide you with Georgian telephone cards, we can provide cheap capsules or original Espresso. And you can rent my car, an old, but comfortable automatic Subaru station wagon.

Minimum stay is four days. I recommend that you stay at least four days in Tbilisi. The city is beautiful and from there you can do day long tours for example to the vine region and the Pirosmani museum. Georgia is a fantastic country which you can explore without haste in about ten days. If you have more time, do go to neighboring Armenia, an even smaller country.

The drive from Georgia over the high plateau to Armenia is one of the most beautiful travels I have ever done. And I might say I have traveled quite a bit.

More to come. If you are interested send me a line and don’t forget to put your address and phone.
